Coolidge’s essays about life, love, nature, critters, and the human experience, have appeared in Spirituality & Health Magazine, and the op/ed pages of the St. Petersburg Times, Tampa Tribune, Sarasota Herald-Tribune, and Bradenton Herald, among other newspapers. As a contributing newspaper columnist, she has penned two newspaper columns since 2006: “Sense and the City” and “Reality Chick”.
Coolidge won a Florida Press Award in 2008 for humor column-writing, she has appeared as a guest panelist on the PBS/Channel 3 political commentary program, Florida This Week, and her popular blog, Reality Online, won 2009 and 2010 Sarasota Magazine “Best of” awards. In 2008, Coolidge published “Sideways in Sarasota,” a collection of essays about everything from being single, dating, sex, and getting older to issues of race, ethics, and politics.

Graduating summa cum laude in 1992 from Plymouth State University in New Hampshire, Coolidge holds a Bachelor of Arts in English (writing), with a minor in French.
